About us

We have been at this since 1988.

Progressive Air started as a sole trader in 1988. Today we are a commercial and industrial mechanical services contractor working out of Arndell Park, across New South Wales.

Who we are

A service and maintenance business first

Most of our work is looking after commercial and industrial HVAC plant that already exists: servicing it, reporting on it, and replacing it before it fails. Chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, pumps, ventilation and building management systems, in facilities where downtime is expensive.

The rest is projects. Design and construct, refurbishments, fit-outs and make-good works, usually in buildings that stay open while we are in them.

We trade as Progressive Air Conditioning Engineering. The company behind it is Pace Services Pty Ltd, ABN 56 069 957 320.

How we got here

How we work

Three things we get right before the job starts

Good service delivery is not complicated. It is mostly deciding who is doing what, and then telling you about it.

The right team for the facility

We pick the crew for the client and the building rather than sending whoever is free.

Clear roles and accountability

Who is responsible for what is spelled out inside our service teams before anyone turns up on site.

We keep talking to you

Open communication at every stage of the job, not just an invoice at the end of it.

Quality

How we keep the work consistent

We run a quality management system, and a Quality Assurance Manager looks after the quality and procurement processes behind it. Every project gets its own quality management plan, written and reviewed with the project team before work starts.

Quality is not a department here. Every employee is responsible for it, and for saying so when a process is not working.
